I truly hope these pictures of what my family and I did offers some
comfort to all the families and friends of the victims of September
11th. Just to update- the tree is still up and displayed for
everyone to see, even though
it's almost been a year. It just reminds us that we should never
take anything for granted.

We were on vacation in Europe during the
attacks. Here's a photo from Piazza Navona in Rome on September 17
and a sign posted on a shop window on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence
