Comments: I truly hope these pictures of what my family and I did offers some comfort to all the families and friends of the victims of September 11th. Just to update- the tree is still up and displayed for everyone to see, even though
it's almost been a year. It just reminds us that we should never take anything for granted.

We were on vacation in Europe during the attacks.  Here's a photo from Piazza Navona in Rome on September 17 and a sign posted on a shop window on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence on September 19.  Thank you so much to all of the citizens of Germany, Austria, and Italy who kindly and generously approached us to share their condolences and offer support.  God bless you!
