The horrific attacks on America hit close to Canadian hearts as it did the whole world. I wish to thank the rescuers that devoted their time to the efforts at Ground Zero. My heart is will all those who lost loved ones in that savage attack, that changed America forever. I gave birth to a baby boy that day, and swore to him that I would protect him from that threat, I plan to do so.Love is the answer, forgiveness is the key. I don't know why I waited 8 and some months to do this. But I guess it was something I had to get over as well. I wasn't even there,I was safe holding my mother in absolute horror for all those who couldnt make it out fast enough. I felt guilty for being safe in my home at that time. I want to let everyone know that all though I wasn't there I might as well of been. That day is etched in my mind forever. I

I experienced September 11th directly. My father was in the attack. Thankfully he got out safe and sound. I send out my deepest sympathy to all the families that were not so lucky. I suggest that everyone wear a Mercy B.A.N.D, Bearing Another's Name Daily It will help us all heal while always remembering the ones we have lost. In memory of my brave FDNY Philip Petti. I just wanted to send my deepest wishes and prayers to the families of the vicitms. I could never imagine what a single friend or relative of anyone that has lost a life is going through or has gone through.I remember laying in bed sick that day and my husband calling me from work to tell me to turn the t.v on and remember crying for hours,wanting so badly to help but being so far away. To all those who lost loved ones on the 11th of last year, no amount of "sorry" can bring back those loved ones lost. Only through time and perserverance will the healing truly begin.
To those souls on flight 93, and all the rescue workers at ground zero... Words cannot express the extent of my sorrow for your losses. But this sorrow has turned into intense anger at the latest news at what the Republican Party has done to the memories of your loved ones who perished in the terrorist attacks, something no decent human being with any inkling of a conscience would even think about doing- using the memories of your loved ones as a marketing and fundraising ploy for mere political gain.
