It is currently the 31st August 2002, nearly a year later and the memories of that day are still with me. I may not of been there but I watched with sorry eyes and thoughts that day. I imagine everyone will remember what they were doing on that dreadful day.

I just found out yesterday that my former boss who worked with me at the Bronx Zoo was a victim. He and I lost touch over the years but I never forgot him and I never will. I live in the UK. It has been almost a year now since this horrific act of terrorism happened. The British people were all appalled by what happened, and still are. I hope that anyone who has been affected by these events are able to cope with the trauma of the 1st anniversary. You will be in the minds of millions of British people over the coming few weeks. When the buildings fell with the firefighters and police officers inside i lost it and broke down at school. See I am a Sergeant with the Lawrence Police Cadets and when I saw all those who didn't have to go in but did lose there lifes, I just wanted to get out there to help, but we didnt we stayed here and got supplies to send out there. It has been almost a year now since this un-speakable event. I was looking through the flight list of passengers and one really hit home with me. "Deora Bodley". She was only 20, a student in Santa Clara California. I didn't know her, but I felt like I did. Santa Clara is very close to my home. I would have never dreamed that something this terrible would ever happen in my lifetime or Ever for that matter.

I was so afraid and scared of the terrorist attack on the WTC. My Father "LT. Wayne Roberts" was on his to Afganistan IN OCTOBER 2001 until we heard a sad accident about the Helicopter that crash into the sea.
